Richard Sutphen: A Mentor Through Time and Space

Today is the anniversary of Richard Sutphen’s birthday. (April 3)

Richard Sutphen (also known as Dick Sutphen) is a soul that I have known through many lifetimes as a teacher and mentor. He has shared a great amount of wisdom including hypnosis, reincarnation, human potential and the reassurance that the souls we have special connection to reunite with us throughout our many lifetimes. The first time I heard about Richard was in the book Soul Mates by Jess Stearn in 1985 or 1986. Sometime after that I found Richard’s books and audio programs. The local metaphysical store carried many Dick Sutphen books and perhaps even a few of the audio programs. At some point I ordered the Master of Life magazine/catalogue and found even more audio programs of interest. As I went to sleep, I had the tape recorder playing my preferred programming audio. Other times I would explore with the meditations and past life regressions. With extra enthusiasm I read Earthly Purpose and Sedona: Psychic Energy Vortexes. Both of those books have special meaning to me. Richard’s audio programs became a regular part of my life and they still are. An email came through in 2010 asking for volunteers to help out at an hypnosis convention in Marlborough, MA, not expecting to get a response I took a chance and responded that I would be happy to volunteer for Richard. Imagine my surprise when Richard wrote back and I sorted out my next steps to head to Marlborough from Western Canada. With intriguing synchronicity as my ride pulled up to my chosen accommodation, I watched with a smile as Richard was walking into the building. The next year I volunteered again. During 2013 I ventured to Sedona twice, for in person seminars.

September 1, 2020 Richard transitioned to spirit where he continues to be a guide for me as I continue on my journey.
