Card: - 86 - Taurus Labyrinth
A lovely choice connecting to the current astrological Sun sign of Taurus and reflecting on Mother Earth and spring time. (Also a day when some celebrate Beltane)
This card is one of the Labyrinth suit and features pieces of other cards from the deck as well as having two guardians and the chakras.
Antique bobble polar bear - one of the spirit guardians for this suit of cards, an intriguing little bear that my father used in his photographic scenes from time to time
Ostriches - a pair of spirit guardians for this suit of cards, happy birds from Animal Kingdom in Walt Disney World
Chakras - down the centre of the card are the 7 main energy centres within our bodies that are from ancient teachings from India
Labyrinth - this is the background behind the puzzle pieces and is from the centre of the Trinity Public Labyrinth in Toronto, Ontario which is based on the one at the Chartres Cathedral in France .
These are all a jigsaw piece extracted from the cards from within the deck assembled to create the option of an expanded reading if desired. Simply notice if you are drawn to one image in particular.
Ascension 2 - from the Transitions suit. Rainbow coloured stairway to the next realm.
Earth 48 - from the Prayer Flag suit. Represented by a yellow coloured mandala created from an image taken at Orsan Michele in Florence Italy. The building had a very special vibe when we were walking by. This mandala is also featured throughout the deck in various colours and is the base background for all of the cards with the addition of a rainbow prism that was displayed on my Mother’s wall
Taurus 14 - from the Astrology suit. Our horse Kathmandu (he transitioned to spirit this January 2026) was born a Taurus. Every astrology card features portions of the sidewalk art mosaics by Heinrich Eichner from the outside of the Historical building of the Queen Elizabeth II Planetarium in Edmonton, Alberta.
Coins 75 - from the Messages suit. This piece includes a water fountain, an image of Earth and a special coin that I found in Maui as a gift from the spirit of Wayne Dyer
Rocky Shores 26 - from the Grieving suit. This was an area in Hawaii that had some very rough stairs leading into the ocean, I added rainbow coloured butterflies that were a found object (a discarded post-it note) as representative of the transition process
Heart Chakra 40 - from the Prayer Flag Suit. The symbol of the heart chakra which also has the Orsan Michele mandala as background.
That is a bit of insight into this card and the cards that it is made up of. An intriguing note is that Mandu was sending me a message through this pick and the message in the original card from my Soul-Pet Deck.
